Clinical

HOLLAND LAKE NURSING CENTER provides services from custodial, intermediate to skilled nursing care. The resident services are coordinated by our Director of Nurses and our Medical Director or the resident's personal physician. Licensed nurses are on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a week so we can assure each resident and family that the highest quality care is maintained at all times.

Therapy

The goal of our skilled rehabilitation program is to increase the independent functioning of the patient.

Physical Therapy: The goals of our physical therapy program are to increase strength and flexibility of joints and muscles through determined exercises. As well as help muscles resume proper functioning following a brain or nerve injury.

Occupational Therapy: The therapists teach residents skills needed to achieve independence to perform daily activities such as eating, dressing and bathing. As well as joint mobility, muscle strength, physical endurance and developing and maintaining work and leisure activities.

Speech Pathology: Our full time speech therapists specialize in assessing speech and language disorders as well as providing appropriate therapy to promote maximum speech function. Swallowing disorders are treated along with improving receptive and expressive language skills.

Nutrition

A registered dietitian formulates menus, special diets and oversees planning of meals. Residents enjoy choosing their favorite salads available from our Salad Bar. Nutritional snacks are available around the clock from the nutrition room located near each nurse's station.
